Though we lost most of our photos in transit back to SA,

Monday we flew from Toronto to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania USA before spending a week in Union Town Fayette County.
After Christmas we drove down to Lexington South Carolina via Virginia /South Virginia and North Carolina. where we spent a week feeling more at home in the 'South' before flying back to Johannesburg via New York and Amsterdam.
And what do you know?.... The morning after landing in South Africa ...Wendy's Laptop gets ripped off!
Yep! we're back home in Africa!

We were surprised to see how friendly, accommodating and polite the people were.
Everywhere in the USA this is what we found on both occasions that we have visited.
Really wonderful people!
We were also amazed how school buses operate and the thought that goes into daily life
as well as the extreme cleanliness of the cities!...Coming from Africa it is mind blowing as you can imagine but that is altogether another blog completely.

Shanksville. Flight 93 memorial. All of this is in the open veld with numerous medals placed on the open ground and is 'untouched' *Respect* is the word that came to mind! A structure is apparently now being built as a memorial in honour of the passengers on Flight 93 9/11 Detroit Michigan
